This impressive zoo is home to a wide collection of animal attractions and exotic creatures from around the world. There is also a fantastic aquarium, which houses exotic marine life and sea creatures from tropical and cold waters. Kids will love the daily dolphin shows and penguin exhibit, which always draw the biggest crowds.

Abu Dhabi Heritage Village

The Abu Dhabi Heritage Village is a fantastic attraction for both adults and children. The area encompasses a reconstructed village, displaying how the city looked before the oil revenues affected its appearance. With traditional built houses, desert tents and exhibits of clothing and coins, the village is filled with interesting relics from the past.

Hili Fun City

Situated in a newly developed area just 6 km / 4 miles from Al Ain City, Hili Fun City is a magnificent theme park with wild rides and fun games. Enjoy some of the region's most exhilarating roller coasters, as well as the death defying 'big drop' water slides. Especially family friendly, the Hili Fun City also features a giant ice-skating rink and Motion Theatre.

Old Souk

Set in the district of the same name, the Old Souk is one of the oldest markets in the city of Abu Dhabi. Here you will find an array of foodstuffs, ornaments and consumer goods. Locals frequent the market for their everyday shopping, ensuring foreign visitors get an authentic experience. Market vendors can often be persuaded to reduce their prices, if you try your hand at polite bargaining.

Mushrif Children's Garden

Mushrif Children's Garden is one of many parklands and gardens located around the city of Abu Dhabi. The gardens offer a pleasant place to visit with large green grounds to enjoy. There are numerous outdoor attractions, activities and games for children to partake in here. With the hot weather, it is best to visit during the afternoon or early evening, or find a place in the shade beneath one of the trees.
